The 125 model family grows with the incorporation of the Zontes G1-125 X, which introduces spoked wheels to give this bike an even more vintage look.
A few months ago we told you the first details of the Zontes G1-125, a neo-retro-looking model that expanded the catalog of eighth-liter models of the Chinese brand. Almost half a year later, the X version arrives that adds, among other things, attractive spoke wheels to give the bike an even more retro style.
It is not the first Zontes to incorporate these tires. Their older sister, the T2-310, and the U1-125 already used these rims with tubeless or tubeless tires (in case of puncture the tire takes longer to deflate) and with knobs for a good performance off the asphalt. P >
For the rest, this is practically the same bike as the G1-125: 125cc single cylinder block with 14.6 hp at 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13 Nm at 7,000 rpm. These data are combined with a contained weight of 160 kg (compared to 150 kg for the standard version) and a seat height of 830 mm. The tank capacity, meanwhile, is 20 liters. Therefore, the range of autonomy that it handles, according to the brand, is greater than 600 km.
When it comes to suspension, the G1-125 X comes well equipped with an inverted fork and a preload adjustable monoshock, anchored directly to an asymmetric aluminum swingarm as, on the right side, it is shaped like a banana. “to save the exit of the escape queue. The new spoke rims have allowed the G1-125 X to accommodate larger brake discs, 300 mm at the front and 230 mm at the rear, and which feature an ABS system signed by Bosch as standard.
In equipment G1-125 is also similar. It has 100% LED optics, backlit pinecones, adjustable handles, anti-fall protections, lithium battery, dashboard with two display modes and automatic steering lock.
