The range of valid models for Zontes brand car license users is growing. On this occasion, the Z2-125 is released, a naked to facilitate driving in the city for those who do not want to get a specific motorcycle license.
From being a brand of recent creation to having a very extensive catalog of models in both 125 and 310 editions for the A2 license, this is how Zontes’ meteoric race to gain a foothold in the two-wheel drive market our country. Although they began their bet with the models with a higher displacement, their latest presentations focus on the panorama of motorcycles aimed at car license users. 125 cc gear motorcycles have a great future before them in the face of the transport restrictions that the coronavirus pandemic is assuming and the eastern brand wants to be at the forefront.
If until now it had 125 cc models in the trail, retro and naked sport segments in its catalog, now is the turn for a more conventional cut model. The Zontes Z2-125 comes to compete in this market from a very interesting price, € 2,995, to which is added the gift of insurance to third parties if the purchase is made before February 28, 2021.
It uses the same high-performance engine as its “eighth-liter” single-cylinder sisters, capable of almost reaching the legal barrier for these models with its 14.6 hp of maximum power. For this, it resorts to high-level solutions, as shown by its distribution system using double overhead camshafts to move its four valves and cooling by water.
The inclusion of an anti-lock clutch system to increase safety while driving is not indifferent, a development that is not found in many motorcycles with much higher displacement. It also highlights the inclusion of two engine response modes, sport S or economic E by adjusting its injection system, a component of Bosch origin.
