The new model in the Royal Enfield 650 family is here. The EICMA 2022 Milan Motorcycle Show was where the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 saw the light of day. It is the first version of a new series from the Indian firm that is equipped with an in-line twin-cylinder engine with eight SOHC valves and a crankshaft that is 270-deep.

The bike has a confidence-inspiring stability, cornering perfectly and a reassuring sense of stability on the tarmac at high speeds on the road. It is the perfect mid-displacement motorbike, as it may even arouse the interest of people who would not initially be interested in cruiser motorbikes. We are convinced that the Super Meteor will expand the cruiser motorbike market worldwide and take the Royal Enfield Twin platform a step further.

Features of the new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650
The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 comes in two versions. A cruiser model and a tourer version with a screen, front and rear LEDs and a larger seat capable of carrying a passenger with a small backrest.
Both the airbox and the exhaust pipes are a big change compared to the first vehicle of the year 2018 version. As for the wheels, a 19″ front wheel and 16″ rear wheel are standard, with CEAT Indian tyres specially made for this new model.
Safety and control
The braking system offers maximum safety guarantees, thanks to the 320 mm front disc and an innovative 300 mm unit at the rear, compared to the 240 mm of the previous versions.
The bike’s curb weight is 230 kg, more than previous models, a statement of intent about the bike’s personality.
Comfort and equipment
The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 has a seat height of 740 mm, perfect for riders of all sizes to put both feet on the ground. Also worth mentioning are the clutch and brake levers, which are adjustable for distance from the grips. Another factor that indicates the ease of riding during all kinds of rides.
The dashboard comes with a novel presentation, a single dial with an analogue speedometer on the outside and a digital display on the inside. It displays fuel level, gear engaged, clock and dual trip meters. It also comes with a USB port and Google’s ‘turn-by-turn’ navigation system when connected to the phone.
